MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 2012!

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
U.S. citizens and students with an Alien Registration number currently enrolled in state-approved schools of nursing or pre-nursing in associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, generic doctorate, and generic master’s programs. Funds are not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing. RN to BSN/MSN and LPN/LVN to RN students are also eligible.

Various 2012 Scholarships, on Campus and Distance Education, Gemological Institute of America

2012 Scholarships
GIA now offers scholarships during two application periods each year for its Gemology and Jewelry Manufacturing Arts programs, courses, and Lab classes – March 1 through April 30 and June 15 through October 30.

Applications for scholarship awards that can be applied toward programs, courses, and Lab classes in the upcoming calendar year (2012) will be accepted June 15 through October 30.

ALA General Scholarship for Master Program in Library and Information Studies 2011

ALA has general scholarships that are open to all applicants who have applied for admission to a formal program of library and information studies leading to a master’s degree. ALA also has scholarships people from underrepresented groups, for library support staff, and scholarships for speciality or practice area. All ALA Scholarships can be applied for through the ALA Scholarship Program.
