AmericanScholarship - Update on Scholarships in America

The Science Directorate of the American Psychological Association sponsors an annual competition for dissertation research funding. The purpose of the Dissertation Research Award program is to assist science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with research costs. The current program includes 30-40 grants of $1000 each, along with several larger grants of up to $5000 to students whose dissertation research reflects excellence in scientific psychology.

First Year Science Completion Awards recognizes students who complete 30 credits of course work in University Studies Science Diploma or Associate Science Degree programs. Full tuition scholarship for first semester of second year are available to students who return to the college to complete second year course work in University Studies Science Diploma or Associate Science Degree programs.

USC Viterbi School of Engineering Master’s Scholar Award
The USC Viterbi School of Engineering Master’s Scholar Award is a merit-based scholarship awarded to outstanding applicants of any full-time engineering master’s program. To support a diverse community, the Master’s Scholar Award encourages students throughout the United States to attend the USC Viterbi School of Engineering by providing award recipients financial support for six graduate units (approximately $6,900 in value).
