MamasHealth.com Scholarship Award

The MamasHealth.com Scholarship Award is available to freshman, sophomore and junior students attending a college or university in the United States with a minimum 2.3 GPA. You must submit an essay with a maximum of 750 words and address the following question: Should states enact laws that would require girls to be vaccinated against Human Papillomavirus (HPV)?

English Medieval History

The Richard III Foundation Scholarship for Medieval Studies is awarded
annually to a graduate student who is writing a dissertation on an
aspect of English history during the later middle ages (c1350-1500). The
award will be worth at least 350 and is intended to help a student meet
the costs of research and living expenses.

National Black MBA Association

The Central Florida Chapter of the National Black MBA Association is proud to announce its 2007 Graduate Scholarship Program. This year we will award a $2,000 scholarship to a qualified minority graduate student. If you are interested in applying

Scholarship Requirements:
To be eligible, applicants must be minority students enrolled in a graduate business program in a college or university in the United States accredited by the AACSB (AACSB International) at the time of award (Fall 2007).

AAAS Mentor Awards

The two categories of the AAAS Mentor Awards (Lifetime Mentor Award and Mentor Award) both honor individuals who during their careers demonstrate extraordinary leadership to increase the participation of underrepresented groups in science and engineering fields and careers. These groups include: women of all racial or ethnic groups; African American, Native American, and Hispanic men; and people with disabilities.

Both awards recognize an individual who has mentored and guided significant numbers of students from underrepresented groups to the completion of doctoral studies or who has impacted the climate of a department, college, or institution to significantly increase the diversity of students pursuing and completing doctoral studies.
