Adelante! Fund Scholarship Program


The Adelante! Fund is proud to offer scholarships to highly qualified students attending college in one of our partnering institutions. The funds are provided through the generosity and support of our partner corporations, foundations and individuals. With thier support, proportionate access to and success in higher education is vital to the enrichment and advancement of Latino students in the U.S.

Scholarship Awards Range Between $2,000-$3,000:

Criteria for Scholarship:
Be eligible for junior stauts at a college or university by Fall 2007.

  • Proof of filing for FAFSA a federal or state aid.
  • Pursue a degree in Business or Liberal Arts throughout the duration of the scholarship term.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale) official transcript to be submitted.
  • Maintain a full-time enrollment status throughout duration of the scholarship term.
  • Provide two letters of recommendation which express leadership potential.
  • Complete the attached goals, objectives and history survey (see student survey).
  • Participate in the Adelante’s Leadership Institute in May 2008.
  • Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident.
