Morgan, Cass and Scott Comunity Services


MCS Community Services likes to encourage students to apply who may not be at the top of the class, but have the potential to achieve fulfilling employment beyond graduation. They provide assistance to economically disadvantaged persons of high academic attainment or potential with preference given to applicants of racial or ethnic minorities.

Eligibility:

  • high school graduate or GED recipient planning initial enrollment in an Illinois post-secondary educational/vocational program
  • applicant must currently reside in Morgan, Cass or Scott counties
  • applicant must be economically disadvantaged

Deadline: June 1, 2007
Amount: up to $1,000
