Leadership 1000 Scholarship - Engineering - University of Seattle
Deadline is May 31.
For a student who is pursuing a major in the field of Engineering, excluding computer engineering, must be a US Citizen and born in the United States. In addition, the student must meet the Leadership 1000 Scholarship guidelines.
General Guidelines for Leadership 1000 Application Submission for 2007-2008
- Washington resident, (at least one year), planning to attend, or are attending a Washington state public or independent college.
- Enrolled high school senior who has applied or been accepted into a four year college/university OR an enrolled college freshman or sophomore at the time of application.
- Planning to or already pursuing a four - year undergraduate degree
- Must have filed a FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid, if eligible to apply. (If not eligible to submit the FAFSA, would need to submit alternative financial information to the CSF)
Income cannot be higher than:
- Family of 3 - $62,000
- Family of 4 - $70,000
- Family of 5 - $78,000
- Family of 6 - $86,000
- Family of 7 - $94,000
- Must have demonstrated high potential
- Minimum 2.75 high school GPA at the time of application, if applying as a high school senior
- Minimum college GPA 2.75 at the time of application if applying as a college student
- International Students/Students on foreign exchange or visas are not eligible
- Must be planning to enroll or actually enrolled full-time as a college student, 12 credits per quarter, equivalent for semester
