American Meteorological Society Industry/ Government Graduate Fellowships


pproximately 15 one-year awards of $22,000 will be granted to students entering their first year of graduate study in the atmospheric, oceanic, or hydrologic sciences. Eligible degree fields include: atmospheric sciences, oceanography, hydrology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental sciences, mathematics, and physics. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; women, members of minority groups, and disabled students are encouraged to apply. Selection is based on academic performance and on plans to pursue a career in meteorology or a related science. The deadline is in mid-February.
