Purpose:
To encourage individuals in health care to carry out innovative research projects in areas related to arthritis and the rheumatic diseases.
Eligibility:
Ph.D. or equivalent committed to arthritis related research questions. Not for laboratory research. M.D. holders are not eligible. Citizenship unrestricted.
Financial Provisions : The award amount is US$50,000 per year for salary and research expenses.
Duration:
Three years; third year is competitive renewal.
Deadline:
Typically March 1, June 1, September 1, December 1. Confirm deadlines on website.
