The Norwegian Thanksgiving Fund Scholarship


The Norwegian Thanksgiving Fund Scholarship is given to eligible students by former Norwegian students and their friends. Only one award is handed out each year, and it can be worth up to $3,000.The applicant must be a US citizen doing graduate level work in Norway. The student must be working on social medicine, Norwegian culture, fisheries, geology, glaciology or astronomy at a Norwegian university. People who are interested in applying for this award must contact the American-Scandinavian Foundation, preferably through their website at http://www.amscan.org.
