Luce Scholarship
Provides stipends and internships for fifteen young Americans to live and work in Asia for a year. Those who already have significant experience in Asia or Asian studies are not eligible. Criteria include: record of high achievement, outstanding leadership ability, and a clearly defined career interest with evidence of potential for professional accomplishment. Must be under 30 years old at time of application.
US Citizenship required. Swarthmore can nominate three applicants.
