Description: The Business and Professional Women’s Foundation awards financial assistance to disadvantaged women who would like to further their education. Scholarships are provided to women who want to advance their career or will soon enter, or re-enter the workforce. The Foundation encourages women to pursue careers in high-growth, non-traditional fields such as engineering, business management, and the health sciences.
Qualifications: Women should be U.S. citizens and be 25 years of age or older. Applicants need to demonstrate critical financial need, clear career plans, and be officially accepted into an accredited program or course of study. Students be graduating within 12-24 months from the date of the grant.
Amount of Award: $500-$1,000.
Length of Award: N/A
Number of Awards: 100-200.
Application Deadline: April 15
Application Process: Application includes a career objective essay, three letters of recommendation, transcripts, a letter of acceptance, and a financial statement.
