Zonta International encourages women to expand their horizons. The Amelia Earhart Fellowship supports women who are pursuing a graduate education in aerospace-related sciences or aerospace-related engineering.
Qualifications: Women of any nationality are eligible to apply. Applicants must be pursuing advanced degrees in aerospace-related sciences or engineering. Applicants must have an outstanding academic record verified by transcripts, recommendations, and acceptance or verification by an institution with accredited courses in aerospace-related studies. Students need to provide evidence of a well-defined research program, clearly demonstrate the relationship of the research to aerospace, and show proof of research through at least one of the referees providing the required recommendations. By the time the grant is awarded, the applicant should have completed one year of aerospace-related graduate studies at a well-recognized university.
Amount of Award: $6,000.
Length of Award: One year, with possible renewal.
Number of Awards: 35.
Application Deadline: November 15

Application Process:
In addition to completing the application form, students are required to submit three university recommendations, transcripts, and graduate acceptance letter or letter of current standing.
