Daughters of the American Revolution


Description: Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) offers scholarships in the areas of political science, history, government, economics, nursing and medicine. A specific scholarship is also offered to American Indians.
Qualifications: Applicants must be U.S. citizens attending an accredited U.S. institution (with the exception of the American Indian scholarship in which funds are available for vocational training as well). No affiliation or relationship with DAR is required unless award specifies otherwise.
Amount of Award: Varies with each scholarship.
Length of Award: Some scholarships are for one year and are renewable, and others are one time awards.
