SOUTH CAROLINA OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION STUDENT LOAN

To be eligible, an optometric student shall be defined as one who has been accepted in or currently enrolled in an accredited college of optometry and who is pursuing a full-time course of academic studies in preparation for a Doctor of Optometry degree. The applicant shall be a current resident of South Carolina and shall have been recommended by a current member of the South Carolina Optometric Association (SCOA). Loans are interest free until January 1 of the year following graduation.

Application Deadline: July 1 through December 1

Award: $1,000 available for each loan period up to a maximum of $9,000
