Scholarship Information:

• Award amount: $250.
• This is a one time, one semester award.
• Deadline to submit application is August 10, 2007.

Scholarship Selection Criteria:

• Must be enrolled in CGCC’s Aviation Maintenance Technology Program.
• Must be at least in the second semester in the AMT program.
• Must be enrolled full time.
• Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA at CGCC.
• The recipient will be selected on the basis of two essays he or she must write and submit along with this application on the following topics:

In 200 words or less, describe activities that demonstrate your leadership within the
AMT program and/or the Chandler-Gilbert Community College community.
In 200 words or less, describe community or industry activities that demonstrate your
leadership.
Answers will be evaluated based on demonstration of leadership, clarity and professionalism of
response, and involvement in the community.
