BENJAMIN S. HILL AND ESTELLA C. HILL FOUNDATION
The Hill Foundation provides scholarships for qualified students admitted or matriculated at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Awards are made without regard to race, sex, creed or ethnicity. Financial need is the primary basis for all awards. While each application will be considered on its own merits, financial need will be established as valid and worthy of support by one or more of the following criteria:
- When an applicant’s personal funds are insufficient to meet the expenses necessary for education at the College of Medicine. Educational indebtedness will also be considered.
- When parental assistance is unavailable, insufficient, or when it creates an unreasonable financial burden on the parents.
- When academic performance is impaired by the time and effort expended on outside employment obtained to meet necessary expenses. Applications will be made available to the UA College of Medicine Financial Aid Office beginning March 1 and are to be returned to that office for submission to the Hill Foundation by August 1.
