Fulbright Scholar Program
The Fulbright Scholar Program offers faculty and professionals opportunities for lecturing, research or both during the 2008-2009 academic year in 150 countries and all regions of the world. Awards are in 45 disciplines and several interdisciplinary fields, including multicultural education, native studies, and human rights, and range from two to twelve months. Many countries offer “All Disciplines” awards open to any field. Most lecturing is in English, though awards in Latin America, Francophone Africa, and the Middle East may require proficiency in another language. The application deadline is August 1, 2007. U.S. citizenship is required. For more information, visit www.cies.org.
