TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY
State law allows students who are citizens of Mexico, who can document financial need, to apply for an award which will allow them to pay the same tuition as residents of the State of Texas when enrolling at Texas A&M University. To be eligible to pay in state tuition, a person must complete all University matriculation requirements and be accepted for admission at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester, which the student plans to enroll on a full time basis. Students currently enrolled are also eligible to apply for the award. For prospective Texas A&M University students, upon your arrival, proof of your citizenship will be verified. Fulltime enrollment must be maintained to be considered for this award. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are not eligible for this award.

ALL STATEMENTS AND TAX RETURNS MUST BE TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH
- Complete Application form.
- A copy of your proof of citizenship (passport, U.S. visa, or an official copy of birth certificate). You must be a Mexican National to apply)
- Additional documentation as requested by the Financial Aid Office

NOTE: Incomplete files will not be processed. Please review your application to assure that it is complete before you submit it.
All required documents must be submitted by the deadline date. Notification of awards will take place approximately three weeks after the deadline date.
