Fulbright Grants

The Fulbright Program was created by the U.S. Congress in 1946, immediately after World War II, to foster mutual understanding among nations through educational and cultural exchanges. Today the Fulbright Program enables students, artists, and other professionals to benefit from unique resources in every corner of the world.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent before the beginning date of the grant. Preference is given to students who mostly received their higher education in the U.S. Applicants may not hold a doctoral degree at the time of application, unless otherwise noted.
Amount of Award:
The grant generally includes round-trip transportation, language or orientation courses, tuition (in some cases), books and research allowance, maintenance for the academic year, supplemental health and accident insurance.
Length of Award: Varies, but generally one year.

Enrolled students must obtain application forms or access to the online application from the Fulbright Program Advisors on campus. A proposed study or project plan is required.
